01Who we are

Dub Media ("we", "us", "our") is an independent creative agency based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at edd.unwin@dubmedia.co.uk.

02What we collect

We only collect what we need to work with you:

• Information you give us through our enquiry and brief forms, our tools (such as The Brainstorm and Brand Discovery), or by email: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the details of your brief or project.
• Account information, if and when you register for the members area: your name, business name, email, a password (stored encrypted), an optional profile picture, and your role (for example client, creative or media professional).
• Project content you create or share on the platform, such as scripts, comments and files.
• Technical information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, via cookies and similar technologies (see our cookie banner to manage these).

03How we use it

• To respond to your enquiries and deliver the work you ask us to do.
• To create and run your account and the collaboration features.
• To operate, secure and improve the website and our tools.
• To send you service messages, and marketing only where you have agreed to it.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

04Our legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on: contract (to provide services and the account you ask for), legitimate interests (to run and improve our business and keep it secure), consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (for example tax and accounting).

05Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, only with your consent, analytics or preference cookies to understand and improve how the site is used. You can accept, reject or change your choices at any time using the cookie settings on the site.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, including:

• Vercel, for website hosting and delivery.
• Supabase, for accounts, database and file storage when the members area is live.
• Google Fonts, for typography.
• Email and analytics providers we may add, listed here when we do.

We may also share data where required by law, or to protect our rights.

07International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

08How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymise it.

09Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email edd.unwin@dubmedia.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

10Security and children

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls on the platform. Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
